Burkina Faso Scholarships
AIMM provides scholarships for young leaders in the church in Burkina Faso to study at the university level. This training provides growth opportunities for both the individuals and their church communities. The current scholarship recipients are pictured below.
Kalonda Bible Institute

The pastoral leadership training institute for Mennonite Church of Congo. Pastoral candidates spend three years learning scripture, church history, and practical skills that they will use in ministry. Students also have access to vocational training in areas such as sewing, carpentry, rabbit raising, and gardening. AIMM contributes funds for professors' salaries as well as for student scholarships. The institute is currently directed by Pastor Bercie Mundedi, one of the first women to be ordained in the church.

CEM Scholarships
The Evangelical Mennonite Church of Congo identifies future leaders and supports them in their university studies. AIMM is currently helping them to support four students studying theology and other disciplines.
Basic Bible Training
The Evangelical Mennonite Church of Burkina Faso started its own leadership training program in 2009. Students follow a three year course of study from November to April each year in the Jula language, looking at scripture and church history as well as practical ministry skills. Several years ago a literacy program was started because the church noticed that some young people called to the work of the church had little or no formal education. Each year after the coursework is done, each student is assigned a local church where they have opportunity to practice their ministry skills. Senior pastors from the church share the teaching responsibilities. AIMM provides a yearly grant to cover some of the costs of the program.
Christ Salvation Mennonite Church Leadership Development
AIMM's relationship with Christ Salvation Mennonite Church is young but growing. In May 2017 an initial leadership training seminar was held, focusing on a brief overview of Anabaptist history and theology. Further seminars on leadership and church management are currently being planned.
